Do You Take Insurance?
While I am not in-network with any insurance plans, I can provide an out-of-network (OON) receipt. Many plans reimburse you for these “superbills.” Feel free to set up a free consultation with me if you would like me to check your OON benefits. You can also click the blue “Use Your Insurance” button on this webpage to check your OON benefits.
I am in network with the following Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), which are work-based programs that help employees manage personal problems that may impact workplace performance, health, and well-being. I currently work with the following EAP organizations:
- Centerstone (for Military Veterans)
- Empathia
- Mutual of Omaha EAP
- Telus (Formerly Lifeworks)
If you are unsure what applies to your situation, we can discuss it when you schedule your initial consultation.
What Conditions Do You Specialize in Treating?
As a behavioral and mental health therapist, I provide online psychotherapy for anxiety, chronic stress, panic attacks, trauma and PTSD, phobias, life transitions, depression, and relationship issues. My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including EMDR therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
How Long Will Therapy Take?
Depending on why you’re seeking help and the goals of our work together, therapy sessions may last anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months for relatively simple problems. You might need to invest more time in therapy – up to a year or longer – if your issues are complicated or have persisted for a long time. Your motivation is a significant factor that may affect the length of therapy.
According to research, you are more likely to have positive therapy outcomes if you are motivated to change, seek help, and accomplish your goals. Likewise, if you are not very motivated or willing to do the work, then the therapy process can drag on or end too soon, causing your symptoms to remain the same or maybe even get worse with time. Making an effort and commitment to this work is crucial to therapy’s success.
Weekly, biweekly and flexible scheduling are available.
